Terms of Service

1. About the Service

UHUB is a community platform designed for university students in the HKBU context. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use UHUB. The current registration flow is designed around HKBU access requirements and may require a valid `life.hkbu.edu.hk` email address and invite code.

3. Account and Community Guidelines

You must provide accurate registration information and protect your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Follow community guidelines and use anonymous features responsibly.
  • Not post illegal, infringing, abusive, harassing, or false content.
  • Not impersonate others or interfere with service operation.

Content that violates these rules may be removed. Severe or repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent enforcement action.

4. Intellectual Property and Content License

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant UHUB a non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute, and process that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

5. Transactions and Offline Activities

UHUB provides coordination and information matching only. Errands and secondhand features do not process payments. Any offline exchange between users happens at the users' own risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

User-generated content remains the responsibility of the user who posted it. The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account through the Settings screen. Upon deletion, your personal data will be anonymized or removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
